The Main Hall

The Assembly Rooms' Main Hall will have the big addresses for this year, across both the Occult Conference and
TVC's Spring Session. Throughout, your favourite bookstalls from across the country will be offering an enticing selection tuned to the great people who make up this event. Access to the Hall is by wristband only before lunch for the first two lectures, and to call dibs on the best stock!

We open at 10am for browsing the stalls and getting to know your fellow attendees. Sef Salem will open the Conference formally at 10.45am, and then we're straight into the first lecture on Protection magick in the Grimoire Tradition, by Jake Stratton-Kent at 11.00am.

At 12.30pm, we will continue with Paul Weston's lecture on Evocation, focusing on the particular act of magick that defined the US Thelemic movement: The Babalon Working by Jack Parsons, Marjorie Cameron, and some journalist called L Ron Hubbard.

We break for lunch and more shopping at 1.30pm, where all will be welcome to browse with or without tickets. At 2.15pm we will gently shoo everyone back out to set up for The Visible College's afternoon workshop.

At 2.30pm TVC's engaging workshop "May The Force Be With You" will be given by Lembit Opik, on connecting with the world we live in and making a difference through political means. Lembit is more than a former Member for Parliament and hilarious contributor to Have I Got News For You; he is a former Director for Communications for Glaxo-SmithKlein, and holds the same post currently for the Motorcycle Action Group.

This session will continue with a break from 3.30-4.00pm until 6.00pm, when Sef and Drac wil close both events. We'll take some time out for dinner nearby and will return at 7.30pm to open the Bacchanal Ball!

As if that wasn't enough fun, you can check out the events going on throughout Glastonbury. When you're ready, you can pick up your tickets from The Visible College's website, and join the adventure.
